This catalogue specifies the energy efficiency classes for luminaires and lamps that have been in force in the EU since September 2021.

The new EEK scale (A to G) is to do without a plus sign and at the same time have room for future, even more economical light sources.

Due to the new calculation, top class illuminants (formerly A+ & A) get an E/F/G classification, although they are just as energy-saving as before.
